almost there!!!!!

5 days until vacation! I cannot wait. I started packing the kids stuff yesterday and will try to get some more done today. Perry is getting really worn out with work, he work over 17 hours yesterday and the rest of the week is going to be rough, too. He has to work his day off tomorrow. It will be cutting it close to have this guy trained before we leave for the cottage. Anyway, next week should be really good for him and hopefully very relaxing!
The prompt for HS:MS today is bowl. A round, deep dish. Show us a bowl in your space today.

Have a great day!

traveller and an update

So, we went to the beach Thursday with my Grandma. It was perfect weather, and the boys were really good, until we got in the car to leave. We had a really fun afternoon. The kids loved playing in the sand, we built sand castles and 'lakes'. Afterwards, we went to get ice cream at McDonalds. And - I didn't bring my camera! So, I have no pics to share :(
Is anyone watching Traveller? It's a summer show and we never watch any summer series, I guess I've always had the impression that they weren't good enough to be on during the regular season so why watch?!? Anyways, this show is amazing.

Perry's mom took the boys for the afternoon, she's hoping to take them swimming at her brothers. Perry is sleeping, so I should be scrapbooking. (Well, really I should be cleaning...)
Have a great weekend!!!

new CK feature

2 tips:
1- use slide mounts as brackets- just cut in half
2- to do faux zigzag stitching on a layout, grab a fine tip marker and a ruler. I mark dots along the ruler at even increments, then move the ruler over to the width that you want the stitch and mark dots the same distance apart- but make sure to slide the ruler a bit so that these dots are between the first ones and not directly beside. Then take your marker and connect the dots. It doesn't have to be perfect- most stitches aren't 100% perfect anyway!
